Here is a preview of the bloopers from Miner Inconvenience.  We will make this a part of the DVD. Enjoy.

Scenes 9 & 11

Scenes 9 & 11 are the Classroom and the  Professor Merlin scenes.  These are two of the shortest scenes in the movie, but fill in some important action and information. The movie is now completely shot.  If you combined all the video on this blog, you would have the entire movie.  Enjoy.

Scenes 18, 40 & 45

Scene 18 is a do-over of a previous take of The Walk scene.  There were sound problems with the first take.  We shot scene 40 on two different dates on two different locations, although the story has the action at one place. Scene 45 is also a re-shoot of the car runaway scene.  There were video exposure problems with the first take.  We took the opportunity to put in some lines that had been cut from the first shoot of this scene.  The weather was absolutely great for shooting these outside scenes.  Enjoy.

Scenes shot Tuesday, October 21.  Great work.  We got one extra scene done.

Because scene 1 is the film's first scene, I include some opening credits.  This is just a draft, so final opening credits will not necessarily look anything like this.  What is included here does show one way that opening credits could look. Opening music is also tentative.  The final version may have something completely different.  We shot these scenes Saturday October 18.

These are scenes shot on October 13, 2008.  7 hours of work created 12 minutes of video in 6 scenes. This is a work in progress.... Enjoy!

This week’s shoots will be on Tuesday and Thursday. Some may have the second shoot on Wed., that has been moved to Thursday.

Tuesday Scenes: 14, 17, 18

Thursday Scenes: 27, 37

Due to early darkness at this time of year and latitude, we will have to shoot some scenes originally scheduled these nights next Sunday. These scenes include: 20, 25, 30, 40 and 47. 

We will meet in Surbeck 2^nd floor at 6:30 each night, then proceed to locations from there.

Here is scene 12, shot on Sunday, October 5, 2008.  Keep in mind that more video editing is ahead, so this is not the way it will look in the final version. However, it is a good look at the shoot we did. Good work, film stars!

October 5, 2008 Shoot Note

Out here on the West Side it rained during the night, but is just cloudy now.  If it stays cloudy we can do our outside shoots as planned.  A cloudy day would be great because bright sun creates shadows that can complicate a shoot.  Clouds disperse the light in a way that lighting will be more even.

 So far, the outside shoot is still on. 

Weather can differ from one side of town to the other.  Please alert me via email or call 390-8530 if starts raining on campus.  If it starts raining during the shoot  (hopefully we will get at least a few scenes shot) there are a couple of indoor campus setting scenes we could substitute.  The more scenes we get done today, the better it will be on our future schedule.
